Located in the heart of Placerville, it is Lynea’s mission is to create a high vibrational atmosphere where guests can come to relax, reset, and be pampered. She recently opened a salon named Cedar and Sage, where she can fulfill her dream of being of service to others. It is her passion to transform guest’s look and feel with the latest lived in color trends and hand tied hair extension techniques. She specializes in Natural Beaded Row hair extensions. This beaded method is special because it is the most natural looking, as well as easy to style & take care of for clients. It is gentle on the hair and ideal for both fine/low density hair as well as coarse/higher density textures. This method used hand-tied hair and smaller beads which allow each row to lie flatter to the head making the extensions undetectable while styling, exercising, when the wind blows, and other day to day activities. Lynea became extremely passionate about the NBR method when it helped her regain her confidence after she experienced severe postpartum hair loss. She is certified in several other methods but found that Natural Beaded Rows worked best for a majority of her clients. Lynea aspires for excellence by regularly attending classes taught by the top colorists and extension artists in her industry. She has traveled to San Francisco, Sacramento, Hollywood, and LA several times training with 901 academy, Natural Beaded Rows, and other celebrity colorists & brands. She has a thirst for knowledge and values continuing education taking over 50 continuing education classes and multiple hairstylist coaching programs. Her commitment to growing & learning has, and will always be a core value. For Lynea, being an extension artist and colorist goes far beyond “just doing hair”.
